RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- For the third year in a row, the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) has been awarded the Platinum Global Achievement Program Award from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) - this award places RRAR firmly in the top 10% of Global Councils nationwide.
In 2020, NAR recognized the importance of RRAR's global programming with an additional award, the 2020 Ambassador Association of the Year Award for efforts in creating new and innovative programing benefiting US and Indian REALTORS®.
"In normal years, but especially in 2020, Ambassador Associations are forced to think creatively to deliver tangible benefits for the members of both associations. Raleigh Regional has set a new standard by creating business building tools, taking new approaches to deliver valuable education, and being able help the partner association understand how to create member value in order to strengthen their position in the market," said Joseph Schneider, Director of Engagement and Global Strategy at the National Association of REALTORS®.
RRAR has served as official Ambassador Association to NAR-India since 2018 and the partnership has continued to blossom throughout the past three years. Achievements that have marked this partnership include signing the bilateral Memorandum of Understanding in 2019, publishing of the first-ever NAR-India Market Report in July 2020, exchanging ideas and information through expansive global webinars, and the first-ever USA/India networking session in September 2020.
"I continue to be proud of our global staff team and our volunteer leadership in their commitment to expanding our relationship with NAR-India and the Triangle area's growing global footprint," said Andrew Sims, CEO of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®. "This year has further opened our eyes that our mission should always be about serving our REALTOR® members no matter where they are in the world. Our job is to provide them with great networking events, business expansion opportunities, and award-winning education. We are fostering such great relationships with other domestic and international real estate and education partners, and there is still more exciting developments to come."
Global services have continued to be an integral part of RRAR as the Association has produced the 2020 Profile of International Transactions, helped launched the Virtual Art Show The Art of India, sponsored 33rd Annual Raleigh International Festival, hosted the CIPS Designation Institute (both in person and virtually), continued translation services for RRAR Members, execute multiple networking and professional development opportunities, and so much more.
"Innovative, cutting-edge partnerships like the ones developed between our friends at NAR-India and the National Association of REALTORS® opens a world of opportunity for our REALTOR® members and the Triangle region as a whole," said Casey Angel, RRAR Vice President of Policy & Engagement. "Our local professionals, housing industry, and overall economy benefit so greatly when we are able to collaborate with leadership from around the world."
