RallyPoint is proud to announce it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to improve veteran outcomes and experiences. RallyPoint and the VA will collaborate to improve access to and navigation of services in local communities for Veterans worldwide. This technology-driven partnership will help community-based programs and support transitioning Servicemembers, Veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors.
“We are excited to expand our work with the VA. This MOU was signed with the Veteran Experience Office, putting the Veteran’s needs at the center of the partnership,” said RallyPoint CEO, Dave Gowel. “On RallyPoint there are over 350,000 conversations about military life that related to every milestone within the VA’s Veteran journey map. Because of the breadth of conversations on our platform, we are in a unique position to help all members of the military community at all stages of their journey: while a recruit, during service, as a Veteran and as survivors of those we’ve lost.”
According to the VA, one of the biggest gaps Veterans face is the ability to rapidly connect to trusted information, people and organizations at the moment a Veteran is in need of such connections. Since the ability to connect and converse about any topic related to military life is the focus of the RallyPoint user experience, this relationship addresses the gap.
The VA will also share information with the Community Veterans Engagement Boards (CVEBs) about RallyPoint so RallyPoint can serve as a free tool for CVEBs to share information. Together, this partnership will support the sharing of relevant information while increasing outreach and engagement to improve access of veteran services in the community.
