We spent the better half of a decade building efficient processes for editorial, distribution and ad tech. Now I’m focused on making Ranker a household name.

Ranker, known as the world’s leading publisher for fan-powered rankings on just about everything, announces the expansion of its Mid-Wilshire offices in Los Angeles. The publisher now boasts two full floors of state of the art office space with panoramic views of the City of Angels.

Ranker’s expansion is due to the strategic development of new business units across insights, mobile and partnerships, an increase in staff, and a new production studio, fueled by doubling revenue year-over-year for the last four years. While most publishers fell victim to the algorithm changes in the ad-tech industry with major revenue losses, mass layoffs, or even bankruptcy, Ranker has played the long-game and continues to increase its size, partnerships, and profitability.

Part of that sustainability and growth has been Ranker’s ability to steadily increase organic search traffic and build massive niche audiences on social media. “Most people don’t know that I started this company 10 years ago,” said Clark Benson, CEO and Founder of Ranker. “We spent the better half of that decade building efficient processes for editorial, distribution and ad tech. Now I’m focused on making Ranker a household name.”

Looking ahead, Ranker will double video production for the new Ranker OTT app and launch a new TV recommendation app called Watchworthy powered by Ranker Insights and release its first podcast called Deadtime Stories.
