Ravi Namboori gives presentation on SDN in Bay Area
Bay Area, California (PRWEB) February 14, 2015 -- Cisco evangelist Ravi Namboori on Tuesday gave a presentation on Software Defined Networking (SDN) in Bay Area, California to a delegation of students from two universities of Oregon. It was part of a seminar organized by a group of networking professionals of California from February 9 - February 11, 2015
Namboori, a networking architect, explained the features of SDN, including issues, such as vulnerabilities associated with it and security measures that need to be in place. It was followed by a question and answer session.
“It gives me a lot of pleasure to be a part of knowledge sharing platform, where upcoming networking professionals have congregated,” said Namboori. “The other sessions conducted at the seminar will surely help them gain a near real-life experience.”
The seminar saw about 200 post-graduate students participate in the seminar. The other participants comprised industry captains, professors, and networking enthusiasts from a few universities in California.
Witnessing the participation, the organizers have now decided to hold it annually. “We were overwhelmed by the participation, which surpassed our expectations. Therefore, we have taken a decision to hold it once a year,” said one of the organizers, who wished to be unnamed.
