Harding’s experiences in the mediation process include all manner of cases that parties thought could not be otherwise resolved.

“I have always felt that it is much better to work toward an amicable compromise between all of the parties involved in the dispute,” said former Judge Ray Harding. “It can be a costly endeavor for everyone involved if litigation is pursued. I frequently believe that a better result can be achieved through mediation.”

Harding has demonstrated a willingness to meet the parties involved in a dispute in a location that is agreeable to everyone involved. “I have handled a wide variety of mediation throughout my career,” said Harding. “Whether it has been mediation over the terms of a divorce, issues relating to contracts or disputes over wills, I have seen it all. Thankfully, I have been able to help a great deal of people resolve their disputes in a way that is satisfying to both parties.”

Harding is also known for encouraging that the parties for whom he conducts mediation to be aware of all of their legal rights pertaining to the mediation, and often advises parties involved in certain matters to have an attorney present.

“It is always important for everyone to be aware of their rights as they begin the mediation process,” said Harding. “I strongly suggest that each party has their lawyer present during the session. It is important for these sessions to be fair and equitable.”
