RazorInsights’ ONE Ambulatory EHR Achieves Certification for Meaningful Use
Kennesaw, Georgia (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- RazorInsights, LLC, a leading provider of health IT solutions for Rural, Critical Access and Community hospitals, today announced that its ONE Ambulatory EHR has successfully achieved ONC certification in accordance with the criteria established by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. RazorInsights tested with InfoGard Laboratories, an ATL (Accredited Testing Lab) and ONC-ACB (Authorized Certification Body), and secured 2011 compliance as a Complete EHR on all required measures.
“Realizing that more than 50 percent of patient care is delivered in an outpatient setting, we are especially excited to have certified our ONE Ambulatory EHR. This certification will help facilitate our clients’ Meaningful Use compliance,” commented Reed Liggin, co-founder and CEO of RazorInsights.
Following its introduction into the Rural and Critical Access hospital market in December 2010, RazorInsights immediately gained the trust of its hospital partners, and has since responded to their multiple requests for a truly-integrated enterprise HIS solution. ONE Ambulatory EHR offers complete integration with RazorInsights’ inpatient clinicals solution (ONE-Electronic Health Record). The single-database RazorInsights platform reduces the need for repetitive data entry and provides a complete view of each patient’s clinical history, regardless of where the care was provided.
“We have ensured that ONE Ambulatory EHR resembles a real-life workflow based on role, specialty and necessity. We’re breaking down traditional boundaries and eliminating operational silos by offering cutting edge, user-friendly products that satisfy meaningful use, while dramatically increasing efficiencies at the point of care. We work with both the hospital and the physicians surrounding them to make the continuum of care truly seamless,” explained Kevin Rockholt, Vice President Ambulatory Services, who played a major role in the development of RazorInsights’ integrated ambulatory solution.
InfoGard, based in San Luis Obispo, CA, tested RazorInsights’ ONE Ambulatory EHR version 2.0 on all 32 criteria points associated with achieving the ONC-ACB stamp of approval. Certified September 30, 2013, ONE Ambulatory EHR met the following certification criteria: General: §170.302(a)-(v); Ambulatory: §170.304(a)-(j). Additional software ONE Ambulatory EHR relied upon to demonstrate compliance includes: Adobe Acrobat PDF Viewer for 170.304.f, h, and i; Microsoft Excel for 170.302.n Automated Calculation and 170.304.d Patient Reminder List.
InfoGard certification number received: IG-2445-13-0025.
