Westminster, CO (PRWEB) December 03, 2015 -- Angela Alter, a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Alliance, is proud to announce she is an in-kind collection drive partner for A Precious Child and is spearheading a coat, hat and glove drive (newborn to adult sizes) from December 1-December 22. A Precious Child is devoted to making a positive impact in the lives of disadvantaged and displaced children and families in Colorado.
“I will be collecting donated items for A Precious Child with Grant Brewster of Home Mortgage Alliance, located at 9737 Wadsworth Parkway in Westminster, which will serve as the collection point,” said Angela. “We are both honored to help this altruistic, non-profit organization improve the quality of life of these children and families. The need for warm coats and gloves has been high this season with the early Colorado snowstorms.”
The vision of A Precious Child is to serve as a resource center in collaboration with schools, organizations, social services, fire and police departments, churches and shelters to ensure that all children in Colorado have their basic needs met. The number of children living in poverty has grown faster in Colorado than anywhere else in the nation since 2000. Since its inception in 2008, A Precious Child has supported kids in Colorado by providing them with basic essentials.
