RE/MAX Associates and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Celebrate Month of Miracles
Denver, Colo. (PRWEB) July 30, 2015 -- RE/MAX agents are impacting the lives of pediatric patients in communities across the country by making donations to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® after each property sale. To recognize their contributions and raise awareness for children’s hospitals’ vital need for donations, RE/MAX and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are celebrating the fourth annual Month of Miracles during the month of August.
Since 1992, RE/MAX Affiliates have invested in the wellbeing of their local communities by raising more than $138 million for 170 member hospitals – including more than $8.74 million in 2014. Donations help fund pediatric medical equipment and treatments, healthcare services and charitable care. For some agents, these donations are very personal, impacting kids in their own families and communities.
“Each year I am more inspired by RE/MAX associates who support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” said John Lauck, the organization’s president and CEO. “They provide much-needed donations to help hospitals care for sick and injured kids in their own communities. August’s Month of Miracles is a time for us to celebrate RE/MAX associates for 23 years of miracles. We are grateful for all they do.”
Throughout the year, RE/MAX offices and agents raise funds through the Miracle Home and Miracle Property programs that provide a great way to help sick and injured children and express appreciation to their clients. They raise additional funds with golf tournaments, benefit dinners, auctions and other community fundraisers. Many agents also visit children’s hospitals and volunteer their time to further support the one in 10 kids who are treated at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year.
