LEXINGTON, Mass., Sept. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author Alexander Von Net launches a new press campaign for his book, "Soldat-X" (published by Archway Publishing). First published in 2016, this sci-fi novel chronicles the story of two soldiers from two different periods in world history who find themselves alive in the present. One is heroic, decent and somewhat religious. The other is anger-filled, vicious, despotic and evil. With the lives of countless innocents at stake, where will their escapades lead?
John Barnsmith was an African-American soldier officially listed as missing in action during the Vietnam War. Unknown to all, John is accidently awakened from a state of suspended animation after having been placed there by a mysterious syndicate. Baron Dietrech Von Tor was a myth in history. His actions were so terrorizing many historians thought of him as a fantasy figure. Now he walks among everyday people in the modern world after a long and secret hibernation, working with terrorists who harbor plans of devastation. Possessing the same power and martial arts skills, these two soldiers find themselves engaged in harrowing duel over humanity's fate.
Von Net presents a story loaded with historical facts, action and thrill in "Soldat-X." The book is geared towards those who like fantasy escapism that is more realistic and edgy. When asked what he wants readers to take away from his writings, the author says, "The passion and joy of a genre that mixes horror, sci-fi, fantasy and military combat."
