DENVER, April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Clayton Early Learning has named Rebecca (Becky) Crowe as the organization's next president and chief executive officer, following an exhaustive national search. Crowe will assume her new role on June 10, 2019.
Ms. Crowe has an extensive leadership background in education including roles in management, strategic development, philanthropy, research, policy, and community engagement. Most recently, she served as a Fellow on the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative's Education team, including responsibility for grant making, strategy, and research focused on child development. Prior to that, Crowe was a partner with Bellwether Education Partners where she launched the Talent Advising practice to increase clients' organizational effectiveness while building a culture committed to diversity and inclusion. She provided targeted strategic counsel to numerous school districts and education nonprofit organizations, as well as corporate clients such as Microsoft and Google. Crowe also served as the Executive Director of Partners in School Innovation with a mission of transforming the quality of early literacy teaching and learning in San Francisco Bay Area schools.

The leadership transition has been in process since Charlotte M. Brantley, Clayton's president and CEO for the past 13 years, announced plans to step away several months ago. Brantley remains in place through June 30 to ensure a seamless transition.

Ms. Crowe is a distinguished alumna of Stanford University, having earned a bachelor's degree in English; a master's degree in education from the Stanford School of Education; and a master's degree in management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Ms. Crowe will join Clayton Early Learning at a high point in the organization's history. Nationally recognized as a leader in the field of early childhood education, Clayton impacts the school readiness of more than 20,000 children in Colorado each year through a wide range of services to children and families, research and evaluation, results-driven teacher training, and focused advocacy.
