Cox initially joined Rebel in 2015, serving as Financial Controller. From there he moved to San Francisco, where he played a key role in the growth and subsequent sale of SaaS telecom company Line2. Most recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Ottawa-based security tech firm Feenics.
Cox takes over from departing CEO Rob Villeneuve, who stepped down after serving as CEO for 11 years and leading Rebel through tremendous growth and brand expansion. Villeneuve will serve as an advisor to Cox through the transition. Cox takes his new role October 19, 2020.
