Baird will be responsible for RedAwning's financial planning, corporate development and strategy, asset management, accounting, investor relations, tax and treasury functions.
Baird is the former Vice President of Asset Management at KHP Capital Partners, a private equity real estate platform where he managed a portfolio of hotel real estate assets for over four years. He is also the former Vice President of Asset Management at the award-winning Kimpton Hotels and Restaurant chain where he worked for 12 years overseeing the company's financial goals. He joins the RedAwning Group at a significant juncture in the expansion of RedAwning's divisions including Blizzard Internet Marketing, Leavetown Vacations and Jetstream Technology for hotels and resorts, as well as the expansion of RedAwning's portfolio of European clients and services. Baird is taking over for John Wade, RedAwning CFO since 2010, who is retiring.
