REDCOM Laboratories, Inc, announced today that it has entered into a joint sales agreement with Allworx, a Rochester, NY-based unified communications company. Under the agreement, Allworx will exclusively market REDCOM’s tactical communications products to commercial, first responder, and public sector customers in the U.S. through its network of over 1000 Allworx Authorized Partners.

REDCOM’s tactical communications products will allow end users to bridge mission-critical communications between first responders’ RF-based communications networks and Allworx SIP-based unified communications solutions. The combined Allworx and REDCOM solution can improve response time and enable first responders and other emergency personnel to communicate quickly and efficiently in the event of an emergency such as an active shooter incident.

“Adding REDCOM solutions to our product family will help our Authorized Allworx Partners provide a solution to the number one problem confronting our customers during an emergency: lack of communications caused by voice networks that don’t interoperate with each other,” said Allworx President, Chris Hasenauer.  “REDCOM has a long history of providing secure and enhanced wireless communications to the U.S. military and other government agencies. This partnership allows both companies to bring these same capabilities to the non-military marketplace where recent events have highlighted the need for frictionless, reliable communications during emergencies.”

“REDCOM engineers, manufactures, and supports Command and Control solutions for users at the tactical edge. With our focus on interoperability and ease-of-use the military is an obvious customer, but the ‘edge’ is everywhere. Human trafficking, natural disasters, peacekeeping missions, campus communication, and law enforcement are just a few examples that require cross-organizational cooperation,” said Courtney Stiles, Sr. Business Development Manager at REDCOM. “Partnering with Allworx and their large network of resellers enables those at the tip of the spear, first responders, and public sector employees to access these solutions from a trusted source and break through common communication barriers in place today. Combine the REDCOM and Allworx solution sets together, and you immediately increase your operational flexibility and security posture with a feature-rich and reliable solution.”
