Refrigerated & Frozen Foods' Best New Retail Products Contest Celebrates New Product Innovation
The Top 5 winners will be featured in a special report in Refrigerated & Frozen Foods' July 2019 State of the Industry issue, accompanied by an exclusive interview on new product development, industry trends and what's to come in the future.
DEERFIELD, Ill., March 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Refrigerated & Frozen Foods magazine, a Deerfield, Ill.-based unit of BNP Media, Troy, Mich., announced its seventh annual Best New Retail Products contest.
Editor-in-chief Marina Mayer nominated 26 refrigerated and frozen foods and beverages that published in print and online at http://www.RFFmag.com from July 2018 to February 2019. The nominees were selected based on uniqueness to the market, packaging enhancements, on-trend flavor profile, consumer need and better-for-you ingredients. Products were NOT selected based off of samples. The Top 5 winners will be featured in a special report in Refrigerated & Frozen Foods' July 2019 State of the Industry issue, accompanied by an exclusive interview on new product development, industry trends and what's to come in the future.
"This contest was designed to celebrate new product innovation and to honor refrigerated and frozen foods processors for their ongoing ability to create new flavor profiles, provide better-for-you offerings and possibly develop new sub-categories in the marketplace," says Mayer. "Each year, the selection process becomes more challenging. But, this year's products definitely raise the bar."
