Reginald P. Best Joins Lumeta as Chief Product Officer; and Bernard Markey Appointed to Board of Directors

Best will oversee product development, product management and marketing initiatives. He brings 25 years of experience in IT security, data networking, and telecommunications to the company, having successfully led initiatives involving venture capital fund-raising, sales channel development, and product strategy for growth-stage and Fortune 500 companies.
Best will play a key role in the development and rollout of Lumeta’s network situational awareness products and services. He brings crucial operations experience and skills to Lumeta at a key point in the company’s growth.

Prior to joining Lumeta, Best was President & COO of ProtonMedia. Best has founded several IT companies and successfully led them to acquisition, including Teleos Communications, AccessWorks Communications, and Netilla Networks, which was acquired by AEP Networks. He began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories as a member of technical staff. Best holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from City College of New York, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University.
