We joined the Agents of Change group to make a positive difference in the Long Island area, and we’re gratified to see how many people in our community have joined us in helping others live well and thrive
East Norwich, NY (PRWEB) August 24, 2017
The Vanderbeck Agency, a Long Island area firm with offices that provide insurance and financial planning assistance to communities in and around Nassau County, is releasing details regarding the success of two previous charitable efforts and a current charity drive benefitting several noteworthy charitable causes serving the region.
The first charity drive was launched in December of last year with the goal of raising $500 for Little Flower, an organization in New York dedicated to providing for children in crisis. This goal was surpassed, with $850 raised for the charity. The second charity event began in March of this year to raise another $500 for the Great Neck Breast Cancer Coalition. This goal was again surpassed, with $580 raised for the cause.
Presently, the Vanderbeck Agency has launched a new charity drive to raise support for Special Olympics New York. “We joined the Agents of Change group to make a positive difference in the Long Island area, and we’re gratified to see how many people in our community have joined us in helping others live well and thrive,” says Brandon Vanderbeck, founder and chief executive of the Vanderbeck Agency.
The Agents of Change network is a growing affiliation of insurance and financial firms across the nation who have banded together to help promote a broad range of charitable causes. As Long Island representatives of this group, the Vanderbeck Agency plans to continue working with new regional charities on a quarterly basis.
To help promote the current and previous charitable causes supported by the firm, Vanderbeck and his professional team utilize modern technology to organize supporters over social media and email channels. As well, the firm posts regular stories about ongoing charity events in the Vanderbeck Agency online magazine “Our Hometown,” accessible here: http://vanderbeckagency.com/magazines/.
