MILPITAS, Calif., June 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- View®, the leader in smart windows, today joined the City and County of San Francisco and Related to celebrate the topping out of 49 South Van Ness, a visionary new 431,000 SF office building that features View's smart glass.
The office building, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) Architects, will include a "one-stop Permit Center" which will serve thousands of San Franciscans each year and be the future home for the Department of Public Works, the Planning Department, Department of Building Inspection, DPH Environmental Health, Entertainment Commission, Board of Appeals and Office of Cannabis along with the City's permitting staff. It is part of a larger mixed-use project designed by SOM at the former Goodwill site on the corner of Mission Street and South Van Ness Avenue.
