“The patient self-scheduling tool ultimately generates thousands of appointments a month, and the ROI on that is very easy to realize,” said a Relatient customer.

Relatient, a SaaS-based patient engagement company and 2020 KLAS Category Leader in “Patient Outreach,” announced today that analyst firm, KLAS Research, recognized the company for its end-to-end communication technology. In a recently published report, KLAS identified Relatient’s tool for engaging patients from the time they self-schedule an appointment through post-visit communication and bill pay.

“The patient self-scheduling tool ultimately generates thousands of appointments a month, and the ROI on that is very easy to realize,” said a Relatient customer. “The tools have also helped us develop our digital marketing in effective ways, so when we have a new provider and want to ramp him or her up, we don’t have to just rely on patients dialing in and our agents introducing the provider as an option. We can leverage pretty intelligent digital-marketing campaigns around a specific provider, and those are pretty powerful. The fact that confirmation rates are high is evidence that the tool is working.”

The KLAS report, Patient Engagement Platforms 2020, interviewed customers who use the participating patient engagement platforms, evaluating the vendors through a scoreboard of user insights. KLAS analysts deemed Relatient’s communication capabilities among those “most likely to be adopted.”

“We are proud to receive recognition not only from a prestigious research establishment such as KLAS, but also from our customers, who we aim to deliver for on a daily basis,” said CEO of Relatient, Michele Perry.

As directly communicating with patients is the most imperative component to patient engagement, Relatient’s many capabilities were recognized as holding the foundation to progressing to a broader platform. Customers reported that Relatient’s health campaigns in particular drive the strongest value. These customers’ expectations are generally met by Relatient, according to the report.

KLAS also asked advanced users to answer which patient engagement solutions have led to significant outcomes. Utilizing these insights, KLAS analysts validated the capabilities of the following patient engagement solutions offered by Relatient:

  • Pre-visit Communication
  • Post-visit Communication
  • Meaningful and timely Education
  • Provider Messaging
  • Family/Caregiver Collaboration Tools
  • Real-Time Patient Experience Improvement
  • Self-Scheduling / Rescheduling
  • Telemedicine
  • Online Bill Pay
  • Self-Registration / Rescheduling
