NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Relatient, Inc. a fast-growing and highly-rated SaaS-based patient engagement company, announced an expanded focus in healthcare financial solutions and revenue cycle management (RCM) with the addition of industry veteran Ed Kenney as its new RCM Director. Relatient is expanding the functionality of its solutions including Patient Intake, Balance Messaging, and MDpay™ to improve revenue for medical offices while powering a better patient payment experience. The challenges that providers face in collecting patient payments have not been solved. The healthcare industry continues to look for resources who can make a difference. As consumers bear a larger burden of medical expenses under high-deductible plans, providers have experienced increased difficulty in collecting outstanding balances from patients. Providers expect to collect only 50-70 percent of a patient balance after a visit, according to McKinsey & Company. Relatient is looking to use technology and out-of-the box thinking to engage patients on their care journey earlier and more conveniently so payments can happen faster and more efficiently.
