REMODELING Announces Its Big50 Class of 2017
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) September 15, 2017 -- Hanley Wood, the premier information, media, event, and strategic marketing services company serving the residential, commercial design and construction industries announces its REMODELING Big50 Class of 2017. Each year since 1986, REMODELING inducts 50 remodeling companies that have raised the bar for professionalism and integrity through exemplary business practices, craftsmanship, and impact in their communities or the industry at large. Big50 remodelers run successful, often growing, companies of various sizes that have taken the lead in raising industry standards.
“America has close to 92,000 remodeling companies with payrolls, and hundreds of thousands more individuals who are sole employees of their remodeling firms,” noted Craig Webb, editor-in-chief of REMODELING. “The 50 that we’re honoring this year represent just 0.05% of all remodeling firms with payrolls. It’s quite a rare distinction to reach Big50 status.”
REMODELING editors, columnists, industry leaders, and the companies themselves make the nominations each year. Following a lengthy evaluation and interview process, the editors select the 50 individuals who exemplify the best of the industry that year, and who have something to offer other remodelers in proven practices.
The Big50 selection process has become increasingly rigorous in recent years, and the result, REMODELING editors believe, is one of the strongest classes to date. “The 2017 inductees are a diverse group of firms that are dedicated to their customers and employees. They are constantly incorporating and searching for new ideas, technologies, and practices that will better serve their clients and increase business efficacy,” said Marisa Mendez, assistant editor of REMODELING, who teamed with contributing editor Gary Thill to manage the Big50 project.
The people and companies listed below are honored in September’s issue of REMODELING magazine, a national trade publication read by more than 130,000 professional remodeling contractors, as well as on REMODELING’s website. They also will receive prizes at a gala dinner at the Remodelers Summit and Awards Gala on Sept. 26-28 in Minneapolis.
