Dr. John Mitamura has an impressive background in the clinical field of orthopedic care and his specialty in spine surgery. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1974, Dr. Mitamura went on to obtain two Doctorate degrees. He first received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in New York University in 1979, and subsequently obtained his Doctrine of Medicine in New York Medical College, New York in 1983. He then trained as a Surgical Intern at the Lincoln Medical Center in 1984, and later completed his Fellowship in Spine Surgery at the prestigious New York University School of Medicine in 1989. He is also a certified board-member at the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
