The Invent Oregon Collegiate Challenge is a competition that empowers college-level students through mentorship and education to see themselves as innovators. Participants receive up to $2,500 in development grants to take their inventions from an idea to a working prototype while learning about the process of commercialization.
At the Invent Oregon Collegiate Challenge state finals, participants will present their invention to the judging committee and compete for $30,000 in cash prizes. The independent committee of judges includes individuals with diverse backgrounds and experience in business and technology, and teams will be judged based on their physical prototype as well as a three-minute pitch.
