Renters Warehouse, America's leading real estate investment services company, is thrilled to announce that Greg Rand has formally joined the executive team as Chief Strategy Officer.

Rand is the former CEO of OwnAmerica, the second largest single-family rental investment marketplace in the country. In December, Renters Warehouse announced that it had acquired OwnAmerica and that Rand would be joining the Renters Warehouse executive team as Chief Strategy Officer. The transaction officially closed on January 2nd.

“On behalf of the entire Renters Warehouse family, I am excited to welcome Greg to the team as our first-ever Chief Strategy Officer,” shared Renters Warehouse CEO, Kevin Ortner. “Greg brings nearly three decades of real estate technology and brokerage experience to the table, and I am looking forward to watching his impact on the business and those under his leadership.”

As Chief Strategy Officer, Rand will oversee the strategy and deployment of the Renters Warehouse Investor Marketplace. He will also be leading the sales organization nationwide by building out a team of local real estate investment agents in all Renters Warehouse markets to assist investors with their buying and selling decisions.

“I am incredibly excited to join the Renters Warehouse team in this new role and to work together to create a first-of-its-kind solution to help real estate investors envision, plan, execute and manage their long-term investment strategies,” shared Rand. “Together, we are going to help millions of people own America.”

Rand launched OwnAmerica in 2010 as an institutional technology and brokerage services company helping institutional investors build national rental portfolios. Prior to OwnAmerica he was the managing partner at Rand Realty, one of the top 50 largest real estate brokerage companies in the country, host of a call-in real estate investment show, Rand on Real Estate on WABC Radio and the author of Crash Boom! a book on bootstrapping entrepreneurship during the Great Recession.

Renters Warehouse is the only property management company focused on single-family rentals to be rated by Morningstar Credit Ratings, a nationally recognized statistical rating organization. Since acquiring OwnAmerica in December 2018, renters can find quality homes to lease, and investors can plan, research, buy, track and sell their real estate investments all in one place with the Renters Warehouse investor marketplace.
