(PRWEB) October 23, 2015 -- Residential One made a big splash at its first PACE Awards ceremony by taking home 5 Overall Winner designations and one Distinguished Community Award, the highest number of Overall Winner Awards for any participating management company.

Potomac Woods Senior was named a winner in Affordable Apartments in Virginia. The evening was topped off when Laurel Lakes Senior Apartments was named Distinguished Affordable Apartments in Maryland.
“I am so proud of the Residential One team,” said Tony Ross, President. “Congratulations to all of these fine communities and to each of the men and women who work so hard to make them great. The PACE Awards was their moment to shine, and shine they did!”
The judging criteria was based on exterior curb appeal, reception area, leasing center front/desk lobby, best practices, building interior/common areas, model, vacant or occupied apartments and maintenance shops. The field consisted of 171 communities, represented by 32 management companies.
The Property Management Association’s Apartment Community Excellence Awards recognizes excellence in multifamily residential management. The 2015 PACE Awards were presented at a banquet on October 15th at Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, MD.
