Resiliency 2018 Conference Brings Together Supply Chain Experts
(PRWEB) March 06, 2018 -- The Global Supply Chain Resiliency Council (GSCRC), a professional community and network for supply chain risk management experts, opened its annual conference in San Francisco today. The event brings in supply chain experts from around the world to participate in topic sessions and exchange current practice information.
“2018 is the year we are all expanding our definition of ‘risk’ and building proactive mitigation platforms and processes”, said Bill Hurles, Executive Director of GSCRC. “Physical supply chains can be impacted by extreme weather, earthquakes, tsunamis, political events, financial disruptions, resource shortages and a variety of other events. The GSCRC annual event is where we take a brief look at the past, and dig deep into the present and future of how we manage our supply chains. We welcome our attendees from around the world to the 2018 event.”
The event will be held at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel on March 6th and 7th.
