RESOLUTE Launches Veterans Guest Internet Access (VGIA) at VA locations
Southington, CT (PRWEB) March 10, 2015 -- RESOLUTE has been providing VGIA services for the Department of Veterans Affairs since early 2014. Completion of new network locations brings the number of medical centers and community based outpatient clinics with VGIA powered by RESOLUTE Partners to more than two dozen.
RESOLUTE is pleased to have been selected by these VA facilities and understands how important the VGIA networks are to patients, their families and guests. The ability to communicate and share progress with loved ones enhances patient quality of life and supports positive outcomes. The VGIA service typically provides access in public areas and waiting rooms, outpatient clinics, impatient wards, Canteen, community living centers, chronic care wards and libraries. RESOLUTE works with each facility to pinpoint coverage areas to meet specific facility needs.
Making Internet access readily available is one of the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs Patient and Family Centered Care initiatives designed to create a positive, holistic experience for both patients and their families. RESOLUTE is pleased to be able to support this VA mission with contracted services now being installed throughout VISN 21 in Northern California, including the Sacramento and Oakland areas, and work concluding in Palo Alto and Menlo Park. The VISN 23 Nebraska and Western Iowa region networks have recently been completed and are operational. Finally, RESOLUTE installed and currently maintains a guest Wi-Fi network in the 296 room VA San Diego Health Care center campus.
