Gift Card Granny launches new platform to partner with merchants and directly source gift cards to consumers.

"We’re seeking a transparent relationship with merchants to collaborate strategically on how their card is represented in the self-use market," said Lori Moher, Vice President of Business Development at Gift Card Granny.

Gift Card Granny (GCG), the world’s largest discount gift card website, announces the launch of Granny Exclusive, a new platform that allows merchants to manage their product listings. GCG is dedicated to partnering with merchants and directly sourcing gift cards to consumers. Currently, more than 100 merchant brands are working with the company.

The secondary marketplace created a new type of gift card consumer—one that actively searched to trade brand loyalty to save money—increasing allegiance to the secondary market sites. Although some discount gift card resellers actively identified and prevented fraudulent activity, others ignored warning signs of potential consumer scams.

"We’re seeking a transparent relationship with merchants to collaborate strategically on how their card is represented in the self-use market. Ultimately, we want to assist merchants with obtaining potential customers they wouldn’t have otherwise received," said Lori Moher, Vice President of Business Development at Gift Card Granny.
