Rev. Diane Cross's Newly Released "My Dot-To-Dot Connection: An Autobiography" Is an Engaging Chronicle of the Author's Journey of Trials, Blessings, and God's Lessons
"My Dot-to-Dot Connection: An Autobiography" from Christian Faith Publishing author Rev. Diane Cross shares the beautiful story of the author's life and living testimony as she connects the dots God has laid out in her life through her early childhood, school years, boyfriends, and churches, to her calling into ministry and beyond. Each dot represents a lesson, an event, a person, or a decision bringing the author to where she is today: blessed beyond belief and called to share her story with others.
MEADVILLE, Pa., Aug. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "My Dot-to-Dot Connection: An Autobiography": a minister's touching journey learning and growing with God. "My Dot-to-Dot Connection: An Autobiography" is the creation of published author Rev. Diane Cross, a certified chaplain, reverend, minister, and evangelist; she is also a proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Rev. Cross shares, "I have to say husband had started going to church, with his mother. She always had my sons in church all their life. She needed a ride again for a while so husband started driving her. I guess he was saying since he was driving her here and there concerning church, he might as well stay for the service, too. He would get the boys ready and would ask me if I wanted to go. I really wasn't on the best of terms with him or the family much at the time. I would tell him he better leave me alone and I would cover my head up. This went on for a short time, him and the boys.
I was just like my mother and father. I didn't make my sons go if they didn't want to go. Their grandmother would say, 'All of you need to go and keep them boys in church!' She would ask me time and time again about going to Sunday school. She would have her lessons on her table, saying she couldn't see certain things in the book and had me read it to her. I would read it real fast and out of there I went! I felt I had enough schooling, so you know all of that church stuff just went over my head with her."
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Rev. Diane Cross's new book is a poignant, winding road of dubious decisions, unforgettable people, and valuable lessons.
Rev. Cross generously and honestly shares her story, warts and all, to powerfully demonstrate how in the end, with God in control and the dots all connected, the picture comes into focus.
