Revelation Software Concepts to Preview Rev-Trac 7 at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo

A highly anticipated new version, Rev-Trac 7 is a major redesign of the market-leading third-party SAP change control and automation technology. It features a unified, web-based user interface, expanded mobile capabilities, and easily accessed change control visibility. The product introduction will take a phased approach, with final features and functionalities to be introduced spring, 2014.

The updated look and feel of Rev-Trac 7 unifies and consolidates many additional capabilities that had been add-ons. Its single point of HTML-based remote entry provides mobile access to authorized users and facilitates such enhanced remote capabilities as mobile change approvals, change request documentation and mobile reporting.
The new, unified GUI brings together in the one place many Rev-Trac advanced features, such as change control reporting, process visualization, object comparison reporting (Salt) and the Rev-Trac Global view system health check and alerting system.
Conference attendees will have an opportunity to discuss the phased launch roadmap and may sign up to participate in invitation-only webinars in November 2013 and March 2014. Webinar participants will gain deeper insights into the value Rev-Trac brings to existing customers and will be invited to provide input on how they’d like to shape continuing future Rev-Trac development.
Show attendees also will be able to preview how Salt change intelligence software and the Rev-Trac Extension Package have been integrated with Rev-Trac 7. The GUI redesign also allows web UI live display of Rev-Trac requests, status and associated items now seen in the SAPGUI Workbench tree report.
