Childhood Cancer Family Connection (CCFC) relies solely on the contributions of corporate and individual donors to support the emotional, social and educational needs of children with cancer and their families. As the only organization in the state to maintain relationships with families who have lost a child to cancer, CCFC provides a lifeline of support – for a lifetime. All programs are free to childhood cancer families and are uniquely designed to benefit the cancer child, siblings and parents, such as tutoring, counseling, scholarships and regularly scheduled fun activities which support the entire family.

“Our agency hopes to bring happiness and support to local families affected by childhood cancer,” said Chris Cowlin, owner of Cowlin Insurance Agency. “We truly hope to ignite awareness and fundraising for CCFC and all the families they serve. Making our community better and stronger is the ultimate goal of our Community Program, and supporting families going through such challenging times is an honor.”

Toward that end, Cowlin Insurance has made the unprecedented move to donate a whopping $40 to CCFC for each and every referral they receive for an insurance quote for the duration of the campaign, with no purchase necessary. Readers who wish to have a donation to this worthy cause made in their name may submit recommendations of family and friends for no-obligation quotations at

The agency’s caring team is mobilizing a vigorous social media and email outreach initiative to help spread the word for CCCFC. Additionally, the campaign is featured in this month’s issue of their vibrant community magazine, Our Hometown, which is delivered to thousands of households in Reynoldsburg and Sunbury and surrounding areas every month.
