Chicago-based private equity firm teams with experienced CEO to build a leading franchise company
CHICAGO, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- RiverGlade Capital, a private equity firm focused on growth-oriented, lower middle market healthcare companies, today announced a partnership with veteran franchising executive Brian Petranick to form Sentinel Care Group ("Sentinel"), a new platform that will seek to build a leading franchise brand. Sentinel Care Group is actively pursuing acquisitions or partnerships with businesses positioned to scale. Sentinel will also consider launching de novo franchise systems as needed to capture opportunities in the marketplace.
Petranick brings nearly 30 years in franchising and healthcare leadership, built on an entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial career growing and scaling a number of successful brands. He spent 22 years at Right at Home after joining its founder to launch the home care franchise system. He served as Right at Home's President and Chief Executive Officer for most of his tenure and grew the senior care and home care company from a single location into a global network of more than 750 territories operating in 48 states and eight additional countries. He later served as Group President at Neighborly, where he led a seven-brand franchise portfolio and its company-owned operations through a period of significant territory, revenue, and earnings growth. Most recently he served as Chief Executive Officer of Medi-Weightloss, a national health and wellness franchise system. He is a Certified Franchise Executive and has served on various industry-related boards.
