RLS Logistics Opens New Food Grade Facility Offering Ambient Storage
RLS Logistics announced today the opening of their new food-grade ambient storage facility in Vineland, NJ. Located adjacent to the company's current Vineland cold storage facility, the new warehouse will offer an additional 36,000 square feet of storage space to the company's customers.
NEWFIELD, N.J., Sept. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- RLS Logistics announced today the opening of their new food-grade ambient storage facility in Vineland, NJ. Located adjacent to the company's current Vineland cold storage facility, the new warehouse will offer an additional 36,000 square feet of storage space to the company's customers.
"Due to the rapid growth of our direct to consumer fulfillment business, we had ambient product and packaging material, taking up valuable real estate in our temperature-controlled facility. This new facility allows us to increase cold storage capacity by relocating that material in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Additionally, this allows us to focus on expanding our fulfillment lines," said Ken Johnson, RLS Executive Vice President, Warehousing Group. "We have seen the demand from our customers to offer ambient storage, which creates momentum behind the opening of this facility as an additional logistics solution for them," said Johnson.

The addition of the warehouse brings the company's total warehousing space to 611,000 square feet nationwide. This value-added opportunity is open to current customers and new customers.
