Our goal is to support these women with useful advice so that they can focus on learning, fun, and friends at college instead of their PCOS symptoms.

“We want to make the first semester at college a more rewarding experience and arm both students and parents with education to navigate the life journey with PCOS," said Dr. Ilana Ressler, reproductive endocrinologist with RMA of Connecticut.

RMA of Connecticut, a leader in fertility care, launches a back to school campaign for PCOS awareness month targeting young women who suffer from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). RMA of Connecticut reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Ilana Ressler will lead the campaign with live streams, videos, content, and events. Dr. Ressler will be joined by experts, including Jessica Ash, a social media influencer and authority on PCOS. Dr. Ressler and her expert guests will arm young women in college and their parents with education and practical day-to-day strategies to manage PCOS.

“One in ten women of childbearing age will receive a PCOS diagnosis, many of whom are in college and struggling with their health at this very challenging time,” said Dr. Ilana Ressler, reproductive endocrinologist with RMA of Connecticut. “We want to make the first semester at college a more rewarding experience and arm both students and parents with education to navigate the life journey with PCOS.”
