RMC International and Compuprint Announce RMC|Compuprint North America™ Joint Venture
Ontario, Canada (PRWEB) January 06, 2014 -- RMC International & Compuprint srl announced their joint venture in the North American market today as RMC|Compuprint North America™.
This joint venture aims to shorten the supply chain from Compuprint Head Office in Italy by warehousing a master inventory of printers, supplies, and spare parts in North America – improving upon product lead time, availability, and customer response time.
Kim Stoltz, the Compuprint Manager of North America Sales and Distribution commented that “this new joint venture between RMC and Compuprint will create a North American operation that can deliver the same quality and breadth of Business Partner and End User support that IBM and InfoPrint provided when they sold the 4247. This enhanced operation will also benefit the sale and support of the entire Compuprint line of printers including the 9000, 10300 and SP40plus.”
In addition to the role of master distributor, RMC International will be responsible for developing and supporting the VAR Channel, Warranty Management, Technical Sales & Troubleshooting Phone Support, and managing Compuprint’s marketing activities and programs.
“RMC will continue to sell the Compuprint 4247 line exclusively through the distribution channel,” said Matthew Skene, Marketing & Sales Manager at RMC International. “We believe we can increase Compuprint’s market share through the ongoing promotion of their product line, continued support to their distributors and resellers, and developing procedures and programs that improve the Compuprint customer experience.”
