Over $2M in gift commitments have already been secured by remote ambassadors, and RNL partners continue remote fundraising amidst social distancing needs.

This is not a time to go silent with donors. Remote engagement is the new normal. It’s also absolutely crucial to protect the data and financial information of supporters as we engage them and receive pledges and gifts.

RNL has officially achieved PCI-DSS 3.2 compliance and certification for RNL Engage Remote Engagement with WebRTC. This tested solution allows RNL partners to engage across multiple channels, including phone, email, text, and personalized video to remotely engage donors when institutions cannot operate traditional in-person centers.

RNL is a pioneer in higher education fundraising, providing platforms, software, consulting, and innovations that have powered college and university fundraising for nearly 30 years.

RNL Engage is the successor to the industry-leading engagement center platform, CAMPUSCALL, with new donor engagement capabilities designed for the smartphone era and modern fundraising management. This industry-standard security certification helps assure campuses that remote engagement, pledge, and gift acceptance are done safely. Donor and supporter information is stored securely in cloud-based servers, and ambassadors can engage and be supervised from anywhere.

“Our partners need to continue engaging donors during this challenging time, and they know from experience that student ambassadors are highly effective and can connect personally with supporters. We are excited to offer this secure and high impact platform to engage donors 1:1 across multiple channels,” said Dr. Sumit Nijhawan, president and CEO of RNL. In the first few months of remote engagement, RNL partners have achieved high ROI and find that donors enjoy the connection with student ambassadors.

“This is not a time to go silent with donors. Remote engagement is the new normal. It’s also absolutely crucial to protect the data and financial information of supporters as we engage them and receive pledges and gifts,” said Josh Robertson, senior vice president for product strategy. “Donors love the personal contact, and being able to continue to work remotely helps students financially and with the valuable experience being an engagement ambassador brings.”

The RNL Engage platform is available today and can be implemented within a few weeks. RNL Remote Engagement includes advanced prescriptive analytics to drive calling, email, text, and personalized video messages to donors. The platform can support annual, leadership, and major giving, along with engagement contacts, surveying, and virtual event support. RNL Engage also integrates with the industry-leading RNL ScaleFunder crowdfunding and giving day platforms.
