Rob Panariello Wins Prestigious Lynn Wallace Clinical Education and Professional Development Award
Uniondale, NY (PRWEB) February 09, 2015 -- Rob Panariello (MS, PT, ATC, CSCS), founding partner and chief clinical officer of Professional Physical Therapy (“Professional”), was awarded the Lynn Wallace Clinical Education and Professional Development Award on Friday, February 6, 2015, at the Sports Physical Therapy Section of the American Physical Therapy Association Annual Event.

The Lynn Wallace Clinical Education and Professional Development Award acknowledges an individual who has made significant contributions in the area of sports physical therapy through excellence in clinical teaching. The recipient also demonstrates distinct expertise in the specialty of sports physical therapy and outstanding commitment as a mentor and role model.

Panariello has more than 30 years of experience in the related fields of sports physical therapy, athletic training, and the performance training of athletes. He earned Bachelor Degrees in physical therapy and physical education/athletic training from Ithaca College. He also holds a Master’s Degree in exercise physiology from Queens College. He rehabilitates and trains athletes, and serves as a consultant to many NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, collegiate and university teams, coaches, and players. Panariello has more than 60 peer-reviewed orthopedic and sports medicine research, sports physical therapy research, and strength and conditioning journal articles, and book chapter publications. He has presented his research at the International World Confederation of Physical Therapy in Washington, D.C. He is nationally renowned and lectures throughout the country with regard to the related fields of sports physical therapy and the performance training of athletes.
