During late October and November this year, Bob Hendricksen is doing hazard tree and deadwood removal at Camp Lakota which is a Boy Scout camp in Woodstock, Illinois. The arborists of Robert W. Hendricksen Co. receive and maintain certification by passing the Arborist Certification exam given by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) to provide their clients with the best techniques in tree care.

The company is donating approximately 200 hours of their time along with the proper equipment to removing hazardous trees and deadwood from the Scout camp, Camp Lakota. The donated equipment includes bucket trucks, stumpers, chainsaws, climbing gear, ropes, and saddles to ensure that they perform the job safely and effectively. To protect the safety of the campers, the work is being done during October and November when the camp is closed. According to Bob, “Removing deadwood from the tree not only improves its health but makes it safe for the Scouts and campers.”
