Robert Cull Joins HOK’s Los Angeles Practice as Managing Principal
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 11, 2014 -- HOK has announced that Robert Cull, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has joined the firm’s leadership team as senior vice president and managing principal in Los Angeles.
Cull brings 25 years of experience in the architectural and engineering profession. Most recently, as executive project director at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, he led the project team that developed the 820,000-sq.-ft., LEED Gold-certified Cedars-Sinai Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion in Los Angeles. HOK was the architect and interior designer for the project.

Before joining Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cull was a partner at Jensen + Partners in Los Angeles and director of facility development at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif., where he led design and construction activities for the 1.2 million-square-foot campus. He also has worked as a principal and practice director at architecture firms Perkins+Will, NBBJ and Bobrow/Thomas & Associates.
Cull, a registered architect, holds a Master of Architecture degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art, where he studied under Daniel Libeskind, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Montana State University. He participated in publications and presentations for the Urban Land Institute, the University of Southern California (USC) Executive Summit, the Healthcare Design Conference and Tradeline, Inc.
Current and recent projects for HOK’s Los Angeles practice include the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) in Anaheim, Calif.; the Cedars-Sinai Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion in Los Angeles; the Scripps Memorial Hospital Prebys Cardiovascular Institute in La Jolla, Calif.; PHX Sky Train® at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix; and the East County Detention Center in Indio, Calif.
