Robert Kottmeier Announced as New Chief Credit Officer of Breakout Capital
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) September 28, 2015 -- Breakout Capital today announced the appointment of Robert Kottmeier, formerly Chief Credit Officer of GreenSky, as its new Chief Credit Officer. Mr. Kottmeier will assume responsibility for credit risk management across all products available on Breakout Capital’s platform. Mr. Kottmeier has over 18 years of risk management experience with a focus on the creation and implementation of credit policies and leadership of strategic customer initiatives. Mr. Kottmeier specializes in credit policy, loss mitigation, predictive modeling, and fraud management.

Prior to joining Breakout Capital, Mr. Kottmeier was Chief Credit Officer for GreenSky where he developed credit policy and portfolio management strategies to enable significant growth in the company’s loan portfolio. Before working at GreenSky, Mr. Kottmeier held a variety of senior roles in the US Credit Card business at Capital One Financial Corporation over a 16-year period encompassing credit risk management, fraud and exposure management, new customer acquisition, product valuation, and underwriting expertise across consumer and small business card products. Mr. Kottmeier received a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University and holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
