Robert L. Lesueur, former Air Force Pilot and retired American Airlines Pilot, has completed his new book “The Other Side of the Woods": an inspiring book that deals with the struggles that he had to overcome in order to realize a lifelong dream.

Leseur writes, "The walk through the woods had been a long one. There were times I didn’t think I would ever get out of the woods. Along the way, I felt hatred and discouragement, love and encouragement, lack of faith in myself and faith in myself. The walk through the woods had been a journey into adulthood. As I took the last steps through the thinning trees, I was finally on the other side of the woods."

Published by Page Publishing, Robert L. Lesueur's gripping book explores the author's story of growing up in the 1950's,1960's, and 1970's in Madison, North Carolina.

Bob, at any early age, had a dream of becoming an Air Force pilot. He devoted his life to achieving that dream. Along the way, he met not only skepticism from the society in which he lived, but also from his peers. Bob talks about the people he met growing up that had a profound impact on his life.
