Roberts Polypro Announces Rollout of Biodegradable Can Rings at Craft Brewers Conference 2023
Grip-Pak ring carriers are now certified as 100% biodegradable.
CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 9, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Roberts PolyPro, a ProMach product brand, is pleased to announce its LDPE can rings, Grip-Pak™, are now biodegradable certified and will be rolled out at the upcoming Craft Brewers Conference, taking place in Nashville, TN from May 7-10. Visitors to the Roberts PolyPro booth (#433) will have the opportunity to see the new carriers on display, learn more about the biodegradable certification, and experience live demos of the can handle applicators.
The LDPE can carrier product line, Grip-Pak, is now certified as biodegradable, following independent testing conducted by a leading agency. The testing was conducted in controlled laboratory conditions that mimic an urban landfill environment for biodegradation of plastic products. Over the course of 28 weeks, the scientific test revealed that Grip-Pak carriers biodegraded in their entirety (100%) without the presence of false-positives or false-negatives. As a result, Roberts PolyPro received a product performance certification indicating that their LDPE Grip-Pak™ handles are biodegradable.
