Robot Pub Group Brings Self-Service Revolution to Australian Pubs
LONDON (PRWEB) September 21, 2015 -- Robot Pub Group (RPG) has installed 36 self-service beer taps at Rorkes Beer Wine Food in Darwin, which opened for business on 5th September.
The system – comprised of one ten-tap beer wall, two six-tap beer walls and seven rBar tables, each featuring two self-service beer taps and iPad food and drink ordering – is the first self-service bar system in Darwin and the biggest installation of its kind to date in Australia.
RPG has already installed systems for landlords in the US, France and Spain as well as in the UK, more than doubling the number of new sites installed year-on-year since inception in 2012.
“We’ve come a long way already and are on target to install 50 sites globally this year, taking us past 1000 installed self-service taps in total,” said RPG Managing Director Phil Neale.
“The self-service revolution is now gaining traction in a number of countries, and we are at the forefront. Australia is a very exciting new market for us, with huge potential. We’re also due to install our first site in Poland within the next month, and are hoping to expand into South Africa and Singapore later this year.”
RPG’s revolutionary self-service technology has been proven to drive up revenues, reduce queues, improve efficiency and transform pubs into destination venues.
Customers can become members at these sites with pre-paid account balances, improving cash flow for landlords. In June, RPG launched a new smartphone app that allows members to manage and top-up their balances from their phones.
The combination of RPG’s self-service taps, iPad food and drink ordering, membership concept and app virtually removes the need for customers to queue at the bar, while landlords can gather data on spending habits and market directly to members’ phones.
