Rock West Composites Targets Architecture and Design Markets by Adding Innovative Carbon Fiber Architectural Panels to Its Lineup
This month Rock West Composites is increasing the options available in its store by adding carbon fiber architectural panels and other carbon fiber panels of various finishes for use in interior and exterior design projects. The company plans to expand into furniture, lighting and other high-end decorative products, which is yet another way the company is working to bring carbon fiber to a wider consumer market.
SALT LAKE CITY, July 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This month Rock West Composites (RWC) announces the addition of 3Form Varia Ecoresin® carbon fiber architectural panel products to its lineup. Carbon fiber has a high-end look that is valued in architecture and interior design projects. By encasing carbon fiber fabric in Varia Ecoresin®, the resulting panels are durable enough for use in indoor or outdoor spaces. In the near future the company anticipates expanding offerings to the architecture and design markets, including matte or high gloss carbon fiber panels, lighting fixtures, furniture and more. There are also plans to offer integrated accessory product lines enabling railing, banister and other construction finishes.
The newly available carbon fiber architectural panels are heat-formable into various shapes, bends or sizes. Since the panels are significantly lighter than glass, they require less structural support and are easier to install. They are also available in hundreds of tints and are incredibly versatile, enabling designers to achieve their desired vision.
