Special holiday ornament classes are running in-stores nationwide on Dec. 3 to support National Make a Gift Day
MEDINA, Minn., Nov. 22, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The season of merry gift-giving is well upon us, and Rockler Woodworking and Hardware stores nationwide are offering a way for people to give the gift of a handmade item through hands-on classes. The Rockler classes will be held across the company's 40-plus stores during the holidays and are highlighted by December 3 holiday ornament making classes, coinciding with National "Make a Gift" Day.
The holiday ornament classes give class participants of all skill levels — including beginners with no experience — the opportunity to craft one-of-a-kind gold-plated ornaments, made from a choice of exotic woods.
"Gift Making classes are a great way for people of all skill levels to get creative with their holiday gift lists and make something that feels more personal to the people they care about," said Joe Kester, Rockler's Vice President of Retail. "No matter where your experience with woodworking lies, participants will leave feeling accomplished with both a completed keepsake and, possibly, some newfound skills."
In addition to the holiday ornament classes, Rockler stores offer classes to make projects that are great to gift, ranging from cribbage boards and coasters to bowls and bookends. In addition to giving a wood-made item, the classes serve as a great holiday gift experience to share with a loved one.
"Our classes are a fun way for family and friends to share in the experience," says Kester. "The classes are small and led by expert woodworkers to help everyone create with confidence and have a great time while doing it."
The enrollment fee for the December 3 holiday ornament classes is $25, including tools, supplies, and safety gear. Classes are limited to those who are 18 and older. Registration and additional details on all local classes are available at http://www.rockler.com/makeandtake.
