Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has won three 2018 Pro Tool Innovation Awards for the recently introduced Pro Lift router lift, Convertible Benchtop Router Table and Lock-Align Drawer Organizer System.

The annual awards recognize the most innovative tools in the residential and commercial construction industries. A panel of judges made up of tool and media professionals from across the United States and Canada evaluated nearly 300 tool entries from more than 60 manufacturers for this year's awards. Judges were looking for innovative features, advanced power delivery, groundbreaking ergonomics, technological advancements and value.

The Pro Lift, which won in the "Cutting & Routing Accessories" category, drew praise from the judges for the fast, precise cutter-height adjustments delivered by the Quick-Gear mechanism and fine-adjustment dial. "Two speed adjustments let you raise your router quickly, then dial it into an incredibly precise height," the judges wrote. "Since you can zero the fine adjustment, you're also able to maintain that high precision no matter what bit you have installed."
It was the second award this year for the Pro Lift, which earlier won an Innov8 award from Wood magazine.
Another routing accessory, the Convertible Benchtop Router Table, won in the "Stands, Tables & Bases" category. Judges highlighted its multiple mounting options and alluded to the specially designed baseplate, which locks into the table but can also be left on the router for handheld routing.
