Recent release "Moody Gulch" from Page Publishing author Roger Hanson is an engaging mystery putting young woman in the middle of a murder investigation when she realizes that the killer is getting closer… to her.
SCOTTS VALLEY, Ariz., May 24, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Roger Hanson, a lifelong resident of California and retired high school teacher, has completed his book "Moody Gulch": a suspenseful tale exposing the twisted mind of a serial killer and the deductive reasoning powers of his next victim in a thrilling climax.
Ellie and her cousin, Carla, both in their early twenties, rent a house in Redwood Estates, a hamlet in the Santa Cruz mountains near Los Gatos. About the same time, a series of gruesome murders begins there. The victims are not only killed, but impaled, sometimes left dangling. From a series of notes, actually bad poetry, Ellie figures out the first letters of the names of the victims are spelling the word murder. She becomes quite worried that the E in murder might be herself. Sleuthing her way along, she cannot be sure she is not in mortal danger.
The sheriff thinks she is on a ridiculous escapade, but an earlier set of killings in Oregon she becomes aware of (known as the Hangman Murders) convinces her she is on the right track.
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Roger Hanson's book is a fun and entertaining read for murder mystery fans.
Readers who wish to experience this engrossing work can purchase "Moody Gulch" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
