RollKall Makes First Acquisition to Help Law Enforcement Agencies
DALLAS (PRWEB) August 27, 2018 -- RollKall, a platform for managing and scheduling off-duty police officers, has made its first acquisition: PD Off Duty.
PD Off Duty, founded by Brock Street and Chad LaPrelle in 2013, was initially created to meet the needs of their own police department’s off-duty programs. With the department’s off-duty program still recorded in notebooks and spreadsheets, they wanted to come up with a solution that would make it easier to facilitate off-duty jobs and sign-ups. After initially launching PD Off Duty with the Keller Police Department, they were approached by some of the other departments in the area to ask if they could also use it. The word got out, and more than 20 departments in the North Texas area were enrolled within a few years.

RollKall is coming off of a fresh round of funding and has quickly put their funds to work. The platform is one of the fastest-growing off-duty management platforms in the country, currently working with thousands of officers from over 900 departments across the nation.

As a result of the acquisition, Brock Street and Chad LaPrelle will join the RollKall team to help lead their law enforcement agency program. PD Off Duty’s departments will slowly migrate over to the RollKall platform through the end of the year.
