He served 28 years and received many military decorations and awards, including, but not limited to, Meritorious Service Medal with two devices, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with two devices. He currently resides in Warner Robins, Georgia with his wife, Donna, and has completed his new book “Life Expressed in Poems and Short Stories”: a compilation of poems and short stories offering a glimpse into the opinions and views the author has developed through experiences in his life.

The author writes, “The poems are not a series of love sonnets, although there are moments, but geared more toward images and opinions formed in living life here and abroad. I love history and desire it be told by those who lived it rather than those who wish historical revisionism. The writings add small details to the lives of prominent figures, e.g., Bobby Kennedy, Muhammad Ali, and Linda Carter (Wonder Woman), where history touched me. There are also wonderful personal stories from my growing up in Eastern Kentucky.”

Published by Page Publishing, Ronald B. Hall’s engrossing book is thought-provoking for readers of all ages.
