Roof Diagnostics Solar Applauds The Elimination of LIPA's Solar Panel Cap
Bohemia, Long Island (PRWEB) August 06, 2013 -- In response to modifications made to Long Island Power Authority’s (LIPA) Solar Pioneer Program, Roof Diagnostics Solar (RD) today expressed its support for the removal of a cap on residential solar installations. The cap would have restricted growth of the Long Island solar market and had devastating consequences on its very successful Solar Pioneer Program.

With the rebate cap lifted, Roof Diagnostics’ favorable market outlook has resumed. The company has invested millions of dollars and hired 74 full time Long Island employees to work out of the 8,800 square foot Bohemia, Long Island office. The company has also reinstated its plan to add an additional 100 full time employees by the end of September. These positions include administrative professionals, system designers, installers and other entry-level solar positions.
