Roomily is offering multiple learning opportunities for potential home sharers in conjunction with SV@Home and East Bay Housing Organizations Affordable Housing Month programming in May.
OAKLAND, Calif. and SAN JOSE, Calif., April 27, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Roomily, a San Francisco Bay Area home sharing program, has signed a partner agreement with Silvernest, an online housemate matching technology platform, in order to expand its program capacity and offer a more seamless process to help people find and keep good housemates. The implementation with Silvernest is expected to be completed in May 2022. In addition, Roomily is offering home sharing learning opportunities in conjunction in May's Affordable Housing Month. Through the partnership, participants of Roomily's home sharing program will have access to Silvernest's convenient and easy to use online services, including landlord tools and templates, a proprietary matching platform, background screening, support and other resources, all free of charge. Roomily will continue to provide education and one-to-one client support, especially important to anyone in need of navigating the home sharing process.
Roomily currently serves Alameda County and Santa Clara County residents. The program focuses on attracting new home providers, who could benefit from home sharing and want to help house vital community workers, and offers education and resources including housemate matching, tools and support.

In conjunction with East Bay Housing Organizations (EBHO) and SV@Home Affordable Housing Month programs, Roomily is hosting two online learning events, "Home Sharing 101." (Advanced registration is required.) More information can be found here.
